“La Galleria nasce dalla volontà di mettere a confronto entità diverse ma complementari, elementi che si completano a vicenda solo quando hanno la possibilità di avvicinarsi, di relazionarsi tra di loro. Questo continuo confronto di opposti è evidente quando osserviamo il misterioso percorso bianco sul pavimento scuro (dove condurrà?) che si specchia nel suo nero antagonista sul cielo bianco. Il continuo fluire degli elementi che si muovono sinuosi nello spazio, indica come il materiale voglia svincolarsi dalla rigidità stereometrica delle stanze, attraversandole, rompendole per poi riabbracciarle nuovamente, evocando l’eterno gioco di amore odio. Il nome della galleria, è stato un elemento fondamentale per la composizione degli elementi e, in special modo il numero 69. Si tratta di un numero graficamente emisimmetrico, simile al simbolo taoista dello ying e yang o a quello astrologico dei pesci. La simbologia è molto vasta: l’alternarsi del giorno e della notte; il bianco che insegue il nero, inesorabilmente, fino al prossimo ciclo; il bene e il male nella loro eterna lotta; il maschio e la femmina nel loro amplesso d’amore. Tutto questo è la galleria Civico 69; dalle maniglie che riprendono il logo ai colori che si alternano ritmicamente nelle superfici verticali e orizzontali agli arredi che comunicano tra di loro in termini di bicromia.”
